The Fourth commission by Red Fyre Dragon, in the series of winged horses/warriors. Aeris, a warrior with a magical staff with great powers, rides Obadan, with powers of fire. Here, they combine their powers in a great attack. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.

Apprentice Sorceress Eissa		 This is another fast CG, in a 3 set commissioned character study by Eric Trumble, from an yet unfinished Fantasy story. Aqua is a apprentice witch, and studying her grimoire for magic spells with a pet dragon.
Aqua		 Available as a print through Podgallery. Vyrain commissioned this swashbuckling heroine warrior Galaxy princess, depicted here with her magical sword. She's a character in a story she's writing. The background is a stargate into other worlds of the universe. Time spent, about 20 hrs. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.

From the book by Melissa Scott. Set in the time of Queen Elizabeth in England, the idea was to get the feeling of magic through the use of lighting effects. One of my all time personal favorites; gouache on masonite.
Armor of Light		 A commissioned cover for a book by Matthew and Autumn Bartsch, this shows the relationship of a girl (Caos) and her Dragon friend, Drego. Although it seems medieval, it is set in a post apocalyptic earth in the future. Drego is based on the same one in the movie 'Dragonheart', but more of a red coloring. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Caos and Drego		 A commission from Red Fyre Dragon, of his characters Ceres, and Hellraiser. Ceres is a warrior who uses her dragon ornamented staff, to bring fire down on her enemies, and, Hellraiser is a war horse who uses his razor sharp talons to tear his enemies to shreds. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Ceres & Hellraiser		 The second commission from 'Red Fyre Dragon' of the winged female warrior/horse combination set in worlds of dark fantasy. Kathalu holds the 'Serpent Relic', a bladed, serrated disk weapon, that she thows at enemies like a discus. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom Tablet.

This is a commissioned book cover by Eric Zawadzki and Matthew Schick. 'Lesson Of The Fire' is set in a decaying military outpost of a far-flung empire. Wizards battle for control of the remanant of the empire, and here, two of the most powerful, battle with magic. The spectators are prominant wizards, including the 2 judges on the circle in the bottom center. The color of the robes indicates rank. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom Tablet
Lesson Of The Fire		 This is a commissioned character study by Joe Rauchman. The description of Lilith was somewhat loose, descrbed as 'really nasty...cares only about herself' and having 'soulless eyes'. She has pale skin, and 'blue, purple and black' flowing clothing. Time spent, about 10 hrs. Photoshop 6
Lilith		 Available as a print through Podgallery.This was a commission by 'Songs of Dragons' of her fantasy character, described to me, as the Guardian of History. The orb is called the 'Orb of Time' and, the crystals in the background are used by her as time crystals. Time spent, 24 hrs. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Mistress of Time		 This is a commissioned book cover for Diana Hignutt's novel 'Moonsword', of Tolian, who must assume female form to defeat a demon threatening the earth. Her Panther is the loyal guradian of the Moon Goddess. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Moonsword
This is an unused version of the commissioned wraparound cover, from the upcoming book 'Moonsword', by Diana Hignutt. The main character is Tolian, who must assume a female form in order to circumvent a Druidic Prophesy, slay a Demon, and save the world. The Panther is the Moon Goddess' loyal friend. Ocean Mermaid Princess		 The first New Age book cover in over 5 years, this was done for a book by Miriandra Rota, for Light Technology Publishing - one of the very few local book publishers I've worked with-and a simple idea established by the title. Path To Enlightenment		 Painted for a children's book, I tried to achieve a magical effect with the colors. One of my most successful images, it also appeared as a 1000 piece puzzle by FX Schmid. When I finished assembling the puzzle, I realized that I'd spent more time putting the puzzle together than doing the actual painting! Available as a print from Podgallery. Oil on masonite.

I did this little piece for fun, based on an anime fanartist's likeness (by permission). Photoshop 6 w/wacom tablet.
Sorceress		 A commissioned cover for the novel by Edward Aubry. The book is really a cross between Sci-Fi/Fantasy, but I had to make a choice, not having both types together. I got a certain affinity to the cute but sassy pixie, Glimmer (foreground), but she's gone from the actual printed book. Her flight stewardess costume is a refererence to the travels (and her frequent costume changes) found throughout the story. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet
Static Mayhem (Glimmer Version)		 This is a commission from Red Fyre Dragon, of 'Hellfyre, The Fallen Dragon'. This is an evil dragon that wants nothing but to give torment, and watch worlds burn in fire. The dark crystal raidiates evil fire, and a source of it's energy. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom Tablet
The Fallen Dragon		 From the book by Bob Shaw. Set on a twin set of planets that share a single atmosphere, one world's 16th century style airships battle the other, in the second book of this series. Available as a print from Podgallery. Oil on masonite.
The Wooden Spaceships
The third commission from Red Fyre Dragon of fantasy warrior girls and their war horses. Zalla (rider) is a Wyvern, with head wings as well as back ones. Bloodwraith (horse) is ridden with disease and pain from wounds, and infects enemies with pestilance as his weapon. Vultures attracted to the decay on Bloodwraith keep them company.
