Gallery Reminder

Some of the pieces displayed here are larger than your screen might allow for viewing - watch for your mouse pointer to turn into a hand or crosshair as you look through the gallery. This indicates that a painting can be clicked on and dragged around within the display box to show the rest of the artwork.

Available as a print through at Podgallery. This was a commission inspired by the series of villains in this gallery. The client chose Castor and Pollux, Twin Youmas (monsters) under the command of Nephrite, one of Queen Beryl's four Dark Generals. I chose a night version of the rooftop scene they appear in (Tokyo), for more dramatic effect. The 5 pointed star on the base, is a loose reference to the symbol of the Witches 5 deathbusters in series 'S'. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.

In this commissed painting, Nekonelle, is sent from the evil witch Kaolinite, from a demon egg, that becomes a cat puzzle, and transforms into the cat demon, to snatch a 'heart crystal', from a young girl in an abandoned house caring for stray cats. The cats attack Nekonelle, who shakes them off with her formidable claws and tail-among other powers, but is finally defeated by the Sailor Senshi. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Demoness Nekonelle
Another of the commissioned Sailor Moon Demonesses, Scar is shown being created in the laboratory of the evil Dr. Tomoe. She originally came from a demon egg, and was sent by Kaolinite to snatch a 'heart crystal' from an unsuspecting victim. She used her dress fabric as weapons and to grab people and objects with great strength. She was defeated in the episode in which she appeared, by the Sailor Senshi. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.

Eudial (or Eugeal) was the first of the 'Witches 5' from the 'S' series, who's mission was to snatch Heart Crystals from unsuspecting human victims, using her specially designed rifle. Only the purest of those crystals could be used. Her special Minivan used tracking to hunt victims, and then she would dispatch them, along with anybody in her way, with a hideous demon from the portable portal. Acrylic and gouache on masonite.

From episode 66 of Sailor Moon 'R, Avocadorar fights the Sailor Senshi in a supermarket and gets a real shopper's bargain in the process. She uses various fruits and vegetables as weapons, including avocado bombs and a fearsome 'Banaknife'. Originally done in 2005 as part of a 'villians' series of Sailor Moon. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Evil Droid Avocadorar

Kaolinite's Strange Brew
Sailor Galaxia appears in 'Stars', the last season of Sailor Moon. I was commissioned for this art, never having seen Galaxia in the anime, but I had lots of still reference material from the anime as well the manga. Galaxia is evil, and a formidable nemesis of the Sailor Senshi, but in the end, she turns good. Gouache on Masonite.
Sailor Galaxia
This commission is of the followup of a commissioned painting I did 4 years ago, of Sailor Galaxia (in this gallery). That was one of my early favorite fanart paintings, and, this one is of two of Galaxia's Senshi subordinates, Sailor Carina (Konjiki, on the right) and Sailor Ursa Minor (Giniro, left). Their galaxies of origin are in the background.  Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Senshi of the Galaxies
A commissioned piece. She is the main villain from the Sailor Moon S movie 'Hearts In Ice'. She wants to freeze the earth and add it to her collection of frozen worlds. She travels the galaxy on a comet of crystals and has formidable powers. Watercolor Gouache and Acrylic on masonite.
