The 14th commissioned painting in the Senshi Zodiac series, Sailor Andromeda resides in the most farthest reaches of the universe, on the distant galaxy Andromeda. Sailor Andromeda		 This commission of Sailor Aquarius is the last of the sign Zodiacs .She is Tetsuya Kashiawra, age 12, from Japan, and is depicted here at the Shrine of Aquarius, on some distant world. Her weapon is the Knun-chuck. The symbol of Aquarius is based on the ripple effect of water, so I made that a theme, showing the water effects in the reflecting pool. I changed the emphasis to the attacks and magical powers of the Zodiacs-here making a dent in the space-time continuum... Sailor Aries is Lucia Caparetti, from Italy. Sailor Cancer		 This is the 11th Zodiac, and 10th commissioned, of the series. Simi Meta is the youngest Zodiac Senshi, at 8 years old, from Saudi Arabia, now on a predominantly water planet, in the farthest reaches of the galaxy. She is with her companion, Capricorn, the Sea Goat. Her weapon is a magical 3 pronged whip. Available as a print from Podgallery. Time spent, approx. 20hrs. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Sailor Capricorn		 This is the 15th commissioned Zodiac Senshi from Ladylace. Charon is the ferryman over the River Styx, and, also a moon of Pluto, also associated with death, and the mysterious and dark Sailor Pluto herself. She's the leader of the Zodiac Senshi.Even what she's laying on recalls a Crypt. Sailor Charon		 The 23rd commissioned Senshi Zodiac by Ladylace. Europa rides across the heavens upon Zeus, transformed into a white bull, and wielding her Javelin-a gift from Zeus, and used as a weapon for her attacks. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet
Sailor Europa
Available as a print through Podgallery. The 8th commissioned digital painting in the Zodiacs, is Mika Garnet, from Norway, and, with her weapon, a magical sword. I went with a different, more intimate look than previous Senshi. The specs for Gemini (clothing, etc.) are in the forum section under 'Zodiac Senshi Profiles'. Time spent, approx. 20 hrs. Sailor Gemini		 This is the 20th commissioned Zodiac from Ladylace. She is Jamie Lynn Gonzales, from Mexico. This started out as a 'stargate' painting, but, not able to get the desired effect, I decided on Mesoamerican motifs as the main background theme. Hyperion, in Greek is 'Watcher from above', so, I used the Sun image, so much a part of Mesoamerican culture. Photoshop 6 w/wacom tablet
Sailor Hyperion		 The 22nd commissioned Zodiac from Ladylace features Chilean model Adela Figueroa. Cathedrals, which are prominant in Chile are featured. Sailor Io is the only Zodiac that does not use the Stargate. She has the ability to teleport, and, can go anywhere in the galaxy. Available as a print from Podgallery. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet
Sailor Io featuring Adela Figueroa		 Available as a print through Podgallery. This is the third commissioned painting in the Zodiacs series. She is Chasidy Maddox, from Montana, USA. Once again, the setting is the worlds outside our solar system. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Sailor Leo
In this commissioned painting, Sailor Libra, shown below the statue, is Mia of the Mountain, from Thailand, and, the 2nd youngest of the Senshi Zodiacs (10 years old). Her weapon is the Boa, a curved spear. Available as a print from Podgallery. Time spent, 26 hrs. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Sailor Libra		 The 16th commissioned Zodiac Senshi by Ladylace. I had this one planned out even before 'Senshi of the Galaxies' was finished. This is another 'Senshi in Motion' painting, and gives an idea of what Senshi are capable of...She draws her power from the ocean, and the stars. Nereid is the daughter of sea god Nereus. Sailor Nereid		 Available as a print through Podgallery. The 5th in the commissioned Zodiac series, features the only male Zodiac, Sailor Orion. The other Senshi, is my own fan Senshi addition to the series, Sailor Bellatrix. In doing some research on the stars of the constellation Orion, Bellatrix is one of it's stars. The background was made to look like the Pleiades star cluster, which is in the vicinity of Orion. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Sailor Orion and Sailor Bellatrix		 The 24th commissioned Zodiac from Ladylace. This is the last Senshi Zodiac from the series. Phobos is on her home moon, with Mars, and Denimos (Mars' other moon) in the background. Mars would appear much larger in reality. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet.
Sailor Phobos
This is the second fast CG commissioned painting of the Zodiacs series. Her name is Cassandra Faye, and her county of origin is England, but as with all of the Zodiacs, is based on the constellation of Pisces deep in the far reaches of our galaxy. She uses an invisibility cloak as her weapon, but, since that was difficult to convey, I made it somewhat transparent to suggest it. This art is available as a print through Podgallery. Sailor Sagittarius featuring Veronika Kotlajic		 This is the first of a new series of commissioned fast CG Senshi fan art, and, in choosing the one to start, I decided on the first black character I've done in over 20 years. Her name is Kiara Mambazo, and her country of origin is South Africa. These Senshi reside in the other solar systems of the galaxy, in the constellations of their namesake. Sailor Scorpio		 This is the first non-commissioned Senshi piece for some time. But it follows the description of a series of Senshi, which are separate from the Zodiacs, by LadyLace, so, I've done this to perhaps be 'commissioned' later...She is Jove Nefertiri, and from Windright, the moon of Kinkomu, in the outer galaxy. Sailor Taurus		 The 21st commissioned Zodiac from Ladylace. Since everything connected with Titan suggests size and strength, I made Sailor Titan the strongest of the Senshi Zodiacs. She draws her power from the molten magma cores of planets. In this way, she can lift anything. Available as a print from Podgallery. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet
Sailor Titan		 The 17th commissioned Senshi Zodiac by Ladylace. This is another ocean based Zodiac Senshi. She, like Sailor Nereid, draws her power from the ocean-by calling upon King Triton's own life-force, shaped in his image from the sea itself, then amplified as a powerful attack, through the trident. Sailor Triton		 The 19th commission from Ladylace. Umbriel is derived from the latin 'umbra' meaning 'shadow'. She lurks in the shadows, and, is rarely seen. She has the ability to see in absolute darkness, and, her black eyes are actually hugely dialated pupils, which make her very sensitive to light, and, she cannot stand it, but for a few moments. Sailor Umbriel
This commissioned Zodiac Senshi art features Diana Hold, who is the webmistress of Sailor Galleries. She has been a dedicated fan of Sailor Moon for many years. She is also one of the few Sailor Moon fanartists to do the realistic style of Senshi. She is shown as Sailor Virgo, passing through the stargate, the method of travel between the worlds of the galaxy. The symbol on the sculpture glows as she passes through-used by all the Zodiac Senshi. Her weapon is the Boomerang. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom tablet. Available as a print from Podgallery.
