This week's update has a Sailor Moon Fan Senshi family, Sailor Life and her family from Charon, the moon of Pluto. It includes a likeness of the author (Sailor Life). Although it is included in the Sailor Moon Fanart Gallery in the 'Senshi Families' section, it will not be included in the current poll of favorite Senshi Families art-perhaps it will be included in a future poll of Sailor Moon fanart... |

While I'm recovering from a neck injury and some overwork on the computer, I spent a couple of days doing something different-an original sculpture from the movie "The Thing"-a dabble into horror which is new for me, though I've built monster kits for years now, it's a side of my career I've not shown, since this is amateur work, and for my personal enjoyment.

In this update, the first painting of it's kind (for me) in over 25 years, in a genre I once seriously considered pursuing until talked out of it by no less than Keith Ferris (the top aviation artist). I've finally done a commissioned CG painting of one of the most famous WWII bombers, Memphis Belle, in the Science Fiction gallery under Landscapes and Contemporary. |

The tenth and final painting of the "Senshi Families" series that started a year ago with 'Jupiter and Family', now ends with Kaiou Michiru (Sailor Neptune) Blair, and family (and some friends). This has been the most rewarding and successful Sailor Moon commissioned (or non) series I've done. Special thanks to Ladylace for the opportunity to realize the dream!
There will be more SM fanart to come, including commissioned art of the Starlights, and Sailor Life, in the coming weeks. |

Two new paintings for the pinup gallery-one early pinup from 2003, Ah! Megami Sama Urd (Oh! My Goddess), and, a brand new effort from the Lane Kramer commissioned series of loosly based evil Senshi, (just an excuse for pinups...) which is also a 'Megane' (Japanese for "girls with glasses"). They are found in the pinup gallery. |

The latest of the "dark" series of Sailor Moon based senshi and villains that started last fall including Sailor Lead Crow and Dark Jupiter, Sailor Heavy Metal Papillion, loosely based from the the Sailor Moon manga (comic book version) is added to the Pin-up section of the gallery. |
